Black Mountain on Saturday, December 3rd will be the opening round of the San Diego Winter Series Championship. The Lusardi Loop is one of the favorite race loops in the San Diego area which is why we have chosen it for the opening round!

Beings this is the first race of the Winter Series we will be assigning you permanent number plates that you will be yours for the whole series. Be sure to bring it back to the next races, otherwise there will be a $5 replacement fee.

Marathon riders: (NEW MARATHON CLASSES ADDED)
Your race will begin before the XC racers. The rules are simple, the rider with the most laps in the least amount of time wins! You have 3.5 hours to ride your laps (3.5 hours is the cutoff to go back out) and your last lap will count as long as you finish within 4.5 hours of race start.

Course Map:
Course direction is COUNTER-CLOCKWISE and we will be using the Lusardi Loop for the race.

Directions:
The Start/Finish and venue will be held at the Black Mountain Community Ranch Park. Parking will be located just across the street at the Black Moutain Open Space Glider Port.

Directions to the Glider Port Staging area are: 15 FWY Bernardo Center Dr, turn WEST make a U-turn at Black Mountain Park Dr and the entrance of the Glider Parking area will be just a few hundred feet on the right.

Additional parking will be available at the Miner Ridge staging area just EAST of the Glider Parking area

We will have parking attendants to help with parking

6:00pm Online Registration Closes

Friday, December 2nd:

10:00-6:00 Packet pick up at North of the Border Bikes

Saturday, December 3rd:

6:00-8:30 On site registration & packet pick up

7:00 Marathon race start

9:00 Beginner/Sport/Expert/Pro race start

Each class will be separated by 1 minute intervals
