Sycamore Canyon is one of our newest venue to the schedule and its a GREAT one! This is a really fun, challenging course that will provide great racing on Saturday June 25th. Sycamore Canyon is located just east of the city of Poway, near San Diego.

The rules for the Marathon MTB are simple, do as many laps are possible before the 3.5hr cutoff. If you make the cutoff time that lap will count. The rider with the most laps in the least amount of time wins!
The race will begin and finish at the staging area located at the parking lot off of HWY 67.
Directions to the staging area: From the 15 FWY exit Scripps Poway pkwy turn EAST, proceed to HWY 67 turn Right, at Sycamore Park rd turn right onto dirt road and proceed to parking area.

Friday June 24th:
10:00-6:00 Packet pick up at North of the Border Bikes
Saturday June 25th:
6:00-7:30 On site registration & packet pick up
7:00 Marathon race start
8:00 Beginner/Sport/Expert/Pro race start
Lap Count for the 7 mile XC course:
Beginners 1.5
Sport 2.5
Expert/Pros 3.5
Marathon as many laps as possible of the long loop.
The half lap will be the same loop minus the climb to Marthas Grove and Marthas grove. You will do the single track behind the rangers station then proceed to "Cardiac." The half lap will be on the last lap.
