The Cobalt 11 is CrankBrothers’ lightest and most expensive cross-country option from their new range for 2011, and at 170g is spot-on for a mid-width trail bar. The graphics include cut marks and rotation marks for both stem and brakes; a nice touch for accurate symmetrical setting.

Alloy tip inserts stop crushing or post crash fraying, and the center section gets a tape wrap for secure grip. The low rise is matched to a relatively flat outer section for low hand height. The backsweep is less than most bars, giving a more aggressive, forward-set ride position.
