OPTIC NERVE TECHNOLOGY

TORIC LENS TECHNOLOGY
Our advanced Toric technology creates a lens format that has two different base curves in the same lens. Our 10 x 4.5
base-curve format creates a sunglass that fits the face more ergonomically than conventional lenses. It offers incredible
peripheral coverage and vision but does not crowd the face or look “bug-eyed” like a conventional base lens format can
do. This technology also allows us to create larger, more fashionable frame shapes like the Buddah and still maintain a
sleek and complimentary look and feel that are great on all face types.

POLYCARBONATE LENS RESIN
This resin is used to produce the most impact-resistant lenses on the planet. Our polycarbonate lenses exceed the FDA
ANSI Z80.3 standards for general-purpose usage. They do not, however, qualify as safety goggles, so you will not be able
to wear your Optic Nerves in chemistry class.

POLARIZED LENS TECHNOLOGY
Polarized lenses have an invisible horizontal filter integrated into the lens, which is designed to eliminate reflected, or
polarized, light, more commonly referred to as glare. When sunlight is reflected off a surface, it becomes concentrated and
even more intense. Optic Nerve’s polarized lenses filter out 99.9% of this reflected glare.

TACTILITE RUBBER
This advanced rubber compound reduces slippage and continues to perform even when the wearer is engaged in activities
with a high perspiration factor. Optic Nerve uses this material in components such as the rubber bridge rests and temple
tips found in the Pneumatic sunglass, to ensure a secure fit during even the most rigorous activities.

PHOTOGLARE and PHOTOMATIC
Our new PhotoGlareTM lens series offers all the benefits of our quality polarized lens series with the technically advanced
self adjusting transition properties of our PhotoMaticTM lens series, all rolled into one comprehensive lens package. There is
no lens swapping, no fuss; just pure polarization that self adjusts the to the perfect tint for virtually any situation. Great
for water sports, driving, skiing, biking, hiking or any activity you can imagine.
The PhotoMaticTM lenses offer all the benefits of lens interchangeability in one lens. This progressive lens technology
automatically self-adjusts to the changing light conditions to darken or lighten depending on the amount of sunlight or UV
exposure. Perfect for running, biking, triathletes, or anyone in a high-performance environment.

TR90 RESIN
This incredibly durable and resilient nylon resin is used in our frame construction. It has a smooth, hand-made finish
incorporates a lab-tested memory feature that keeps the frame from stretching out over time.
